The conference was a great success! I think all the teachers found it very informative and enjoyed their time.
I loved hearing Kailash talk and asking the guests questions. I had a great time.
Here's a copy of the poem some of the CHILD members presented:

Child Labor Poem
Dedicated to Teachers of the world

The light only shines on what we want to see
The light only shows you and me
The light never shines on children around the world
The light never shows the children who make our clothes
They pick our coffee
They pick our tea
They pick the sugar
Consumed by you and me
They fight in our battles
They enter our wars
They’re not but 13
When they witness these horrors
The solution is not simple
But it’s easy to start
To inspire your children
So they too can play a part
The light will shine
And all will be exposed
The era of child labor
Will be closed!
For they’ll all be in school
With education as the rule
So let’s put our heads together
You and me
To fight the good fight
And set the kids free!

Last night Chivy was trying to teach salsa and merenge dances. I still can't do either. I still can't tell the difference.

Yesterday was the ICGS Softball tournament. My team won!!! That makes it 2 years in a row I've been on the winning team! The 'trophies' they gave out were cool but mine's paint was chiped. Lol. Well, that's all.

I'm back!!! Florida was sooo cool! I got to snorkel, kayak, and swim with all sorts of awesome marine animals including nurse sharks, barracudas, manatees, dolphins(!) and stingrays!
I love Key West! Did 'ya know that chickens are protected there? Yep, they just walk around freely. Still, I'm glad to be back.
My best friend at camp, Kaleigh, turned 14 yesterday. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
Well, that's it for now, I'll see if I can put some photos on this page.

Here's some info on the garage sale we had to raise money for Universal Solutions. We made over $150 which we sent to Free the Children [Click here for more]. As for the leftover junk, Mrs. Meggit from Lucas took many of the small toys to give to Senegalese children and the rest went to goodwill. Booh ya!!!
